Matthew R. Logar, CFP®, CPA/PFS

President

Matt Logar is a tenured leader with over 25 years of wealth management experience. As Fairport president, Matt is responsible for enterprise strategy and executing on our three-year business plan. He is accountable for leadership management and succession and serves as primary liaison with our parent company Hightower. Matt is the champion for the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and acts as the firm’s EOS Integrator, ensuring its effectiveness across the organization.

Matt most recently worked at Key Private Bank as the Regional Planning Strategist and National Advice Leader. Earlier in his career, Matt founded and established his own financial planning firm. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and a Certified Public Accountant with the Personal Financial Specialist credential.

Matt graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Matt is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Northeast Ohio Financial Planning Association (FPA).

He currently resides in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood with his wife, Amy, and he enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, boating, fishing and mountain biking.
